The new Kärcher AP 100/50 M is a multifunctional pressure and wet vacuum cleaner in one. The advantage of this combination is that the water used is mopped up by the vacuum cleaner. So the pressure cleaner can be used with ease in rooms with no drainage.
The cleaner is particularly suitable for thorough cleaning of sanitary facilities that need to be ready for use again immediately afterwards. The AP 100/50 M can also be used to clear up after fires because the pressure cleaner’s 100-litre fresh water tank can keep it going for up to 40 minutes without access to a water connection. The tank is filled via a built-in hosepipe that can be connected to any water tap by means of a flexible coupling.
Pressure cleaning can be undertaken at two levels. At 15-bar pressure, detergents or disinfectants are mainly applied. When they have been left to soak in for the prescribed time the dirt can simply be removed at a water pressure of 50 bar. The cleaning agent is added to the water in the device after it has passed through the pump. That protects the pump from corrosion and the water in the tank from contamination.
The dirty water can be almost entirely mopped up by the wet vacuum. Its stainless steel suction nozzle is corrosion-proof. Extra long and flexible hosepipes (the suction hose is 10 metres, the high-pressure hose 15 metres long) enable the unit to clean small rooms and tight spaces. The cleaner is simply left outside the door.
