The Dyson Hot fan heater allows you to select the target temperature to the exact degree you wish, whilst the intelligent thermostat keeps it there. Dust that collects on the heating elements of some fan heaters burns when their temperature exceeds 230°C. The Dyson Hot fan heater has elements that never exceed 200°C - and there is no burning smell. Most conventional heaters cannot be tilted to direct warm air where you want for personal heating. The Dyson Hot fan heater pivots on its own centre of gravity, staying put without clamping, so you can direct airflow where you want it.
Some conventional heaters blow heat in a narrow stream because they do not oscillate. So the whole room is not heated evenly. The Dyson Hot fan heater oscillates smoothly to distribute heat across the whole room. Temperature, oscillation and airflow can all be controlled from the remote control, which stores magnetically on top of the machine when not in use. The temperature range varies from 1°C to 37°C.
